Thomas M. Kiefer, DMD
Thomas Kiefer graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1983 after earning his biology of science degree from Syracuse University in 1979. Since graduating from dental school, Dr. Kiefer has regularly taken courses to remain current with the newest dental technologies. He has received extensive training in implantology, as well as advanced training in the Ögram Oral Surgery system. Dr. Kiefer has proudly practiced dentistry in our community for ten years, and he is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the Florida Dental Association (FDA), and International Team for Implantology (ITI). Dr. Kiefer strives to educate his patients and to help them repair and maintain their smiles. He is also committed to educating patients on how to maintain dental health for the rest of their lives. Dr. Kiefer has practiced dentistry in the Northeastern United States (in two locations), in the military (as part of the US Air Force at Patrick Air Force Base in Florida), and for a corporate dental company (in Stuart, Florida). He believes that his exposure to a variety of geographical areas and different work areas have made him feel confident that he wants to stay in Marathon for years to come. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Kiefer enjoys sailing, spearfishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, boating, gardening, cooking, and travelling.
